Open to exceptional applicants.

Addiction was formed the week before ToT came out, we went from a 10 man guild to 20 man and haven't looked back since. We have a long history of being very successful on a short amount of raid hours. The guild is managed by leadership with a proven track record. We have a great reputation among the raiding community. If you enjoy seeing all the game has to offer without having to sacrifice your life to get it,  then this may be just the place for you.

Room can always be made for the best of any class and build. Any applicant who can play his offspec very well will solidify their spot even more.

Raid Schedule:
Addiction raids primarily 10:00 pm - 2:00 am EST on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. If your schedule does not allow one of those days, please apply elsewhere. Keep in mind we are not looking for players who are non-existent outside of scheduled raids.

Loot:
We use a loot council system. It is comprised of a few officers and 2 normal raiders. Many factors go into loot decisions such as upgrade value, recent amount of upgrades, attendance, performance, attitude, and benefit to the raid.

Addiction
Our Guild, Members, and what we seek.
Addiction is designed to be the best, while still maintaining a light raid schedule. The members who make up our guild take pride in being part of an atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable and able to have fun while competing at a top tier level. We have all been part of US top 10 guilds and done the hardcore scene. This is our chance to play on a lighter schedule and really enjoy our time. The enticing aspect of this guild is being able to raid just 3 days a week and be able to see all the game has to offer while playing with some top quality players who have a great time.

That being said, the success of the guild and raid itself stems from the ability of all the players within it.  You will make or break a guild, simply by how well you handle yourself during each raid. We will only recruit the very best possible, and if you begin to hurt the guild or weaken our routine, we will not tolerate it. We feel as though there are just certain prerequisites you should have to make it as a successful applicant:

- You must understand the "ins" and "outs" of your own class.
- You should be able to
execute a strategy properly after learning it.
- You should be able to show up every time you are needed.
- Don't be an asshole, douchebag, drama queen, debbie downer, or mute.
- You should be able to adapt to any situation thrown your way to be able to succeed. Do not give up at the first sign of adversity.
-One raid ready alt is required for split raids

In Addiction it is expected that nobody is carried; every one holds their own. You should always be learning for yourself as much as you possibly can. It should be common knowledge that you learn the boss strats before you show up, brush up on the latest nerd math for your class before you are required to DPS, and have your shit ready to go before called upon. It should never be enough to coast by or be content with your character; push yourself to your limits and then crush those. Competitiveness is a great thing; it creates a focused atmosphere, and it will be expected from Addiction applicants, trials, members, and core members.

It is a double edged sword however, there is a point where you are doing more harm than good to improve yourself, be careful of that. We are talking about the pvp mentality where nothing you did was wrong and you are in it for yourself. This is a guild and more importantly, a family. It should be your responsibility to share information, assist others actively, and speak up if it is pertinent. If you do all of these, every one will benefit.

Also, remember, your favorite color is Orange.

Provided you don't blatantly fail or have any problems with what is above, proceed to the application.
